Mining ETH – help needed!

    I recently got into crypto and i want to start mining some ETH! The only problem is that i have NO IDEA where to start..

    I have a friend selling his equipment but i have no clue if its any good, any and every suggestion is welcome!

    the rx580 are good, the 1050s are crap

    the rest is basic setup equipment

    asking price is not terrible, depends the state of the hardware..

    don’t waste your money if you wont mine seriously — hardware becomes obsolete quite quicky

    if you just wana mess around and mine quickly directly on your computer check out MinerGate

    PSA: not profitable unless BTC moons

    @sodaplease can I use ‘MinerGate’ on my Macbook (I have the pro version – early 2015)?

    It’s pretty powerful I have 16 GB of memory (1867 MHz DDR3)
    Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB
    121 GB flash drive

    yes you can use minergate on your mac wont be able to earn much however
