Daily Price Analysis 10/13: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), EOS, Stellar (XLM) Litecoin (LTC)

For the third consecutive day, the cryptocurrency market has remained stable. Yesterday, the total market cap was $201 billion and has remained at that level over the past 24 hours while volumes continue to slide.

The daily trading volume meanwhile has continued to drop as it slipped from $13 billion recorded yesterday to currently stand at $9 billion.

Bitcoin (BTC) price analysis

The leading cryptocurrency is trading in the red zone again after losing less than 1% of its value over the past 24 hours. BTC was trading at $6,336 yesterday but has now dropped to $6,317.

CFTC Chair Christopher Giancarlo believes that Bitcoin futures have helped crypto market stabilized and the Bitcoin price still trading around the $6,000 region is a sign of that.

The daily trading volume has lost $1.3 billion over the past 24 hours. BTC’s 24-hour trading volume yesterday was $4.3 billion but has now dropped to $3 billion.

BTC is down by more than 2% against the USD over the past five days. It was trading at $6,614 five days ago but has slipped since then to currently trade at $6,317.

Ethereum (ETH) price analysis

Ethereum has recovered impressively after dropping below the $200 mark yesterday. It has gained 1.1% to rise to $200 after trading at $193 yesterday.

The 24-hour trading volume meanwhile has continued to drop despite the price increase. ETH daily trading volume yesterday was $1.8 billion but it has since then dropped to $1.1 billion.

ETH is down by 11.3% against the greenback over the past five days. It was trading at $226 five days ago but has since then dropped to currently trade at $200. It has meanwhile lost 7.3% of its value against BTC over the past few days.

Ripple (XRP) price analysis

XRP has slipped again to the $0.41 mark after losing 1.7% of its value over the past 24 hours. It was trading at $0.43 yesterday but has now dropped. This comes despite Ripple’s strategist praising XRP for its liquidity benefits to banks.

The daily trading volume is down by roughly 50% over the past few hours. XRP daily trading volume yesterday was $816 million but it has dropped to its current level at $411 million.

XRP’s chart shows that it is down by 13% against the US Dollars over the past few days. XRP was trading at $0.48 five days ago but embarked on a decline that saw it slip to $0.41. It is meanwhile down by more than 9% against BTC during that time period.

EOS (EOS) price analysis

EOS has been able to maintain its price over the past few hours. It was trading at $5.25 yesterday and it has been able to maintain that price. The daily trading volume continues to decline and now stands at $387 million after reaching $560 million yesterday.

Over the past five days, EOS has lost 8.6% of its value against the US Dollars. It was trading at $5.75 a few days ago but experienced a sharp decline during the week and now trades at $5.25. It is meanwhile down by less than 5% against BTC over the past five days.

Stellar Lumens (XLM) price analysis

XLM is trading in the green zone again after rising by less than 1% over the past 24 hours. Its price is still stagnant at the $0.21 mark despite the slight price increase. The 24-hour trading volume has slipped from $62 million to $49 million over the past few hours.

Stellar has lost 11% of its value against the USD over the past five days. It was trading at $0.24 five days ago but has slipped and now trades at $0.21. It is down by 7.5% against Bitcoin during that time period.

Litecoin price analysis

Litecoin is up less than 1% over the past few hours. It was trading at $53 yesterday and has maintained that price despite Gemini crypto exchange adding LTC trading to its platform.

The daily trading volume has meanwhile dropped to $232 million over the past few hours after reaching $321 million yesterday.

LTC is down by more than 7% against the US Dollars over the past few days. It was trading at $58 five days ago but has slipped and now trades at $53 per coin. It is down by more than 3% against BTC over the past five days.
