Daily Price Analysis 10/12: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), EOS, Stellar (XLM) Litecoin (LTC)

The cryptocurrency market has remained stagnant over the past 24 hours. The total market cap was $201 billion yesterday and it has remained at that level over the past 24 hours.

The market didn’t react to Nouriel Roubini bashing crypto at the Senate hearing yesterday,

The 24-hour trading volume of the general market meanwhile has dropped by $2 billion over the past few hours, from yesterday’s $15 billion to $13 billion today.

Bitcoin (BTC) price analysis

Bitcoin is trading in the green again after rising by less than 1% over the past 24 hours. BTC was trading at $6,302 yesterday but has gone up to now trade at $6,336.

The 24-hour trading volume has meanwhile dropped by $300 million, from $4.6 billion recorded yesterday to its current volume at $4.3 billion.

Bitcoin has lost 3.9% of its value against the USD over the past five days. It was trading at $6,596 five days ago but experienced a sharp decline that has seen it drop to $6,336.

Ethereum (ETH) price analysis

Despite the market stabilizing over the past 24 hours, Ethereum continued its decline.

ETH has lost 3.6% of its value over the past few hours, dropping from $220 yesterday to now trade at $193.

The 24-hour trading volume meanwhile has remained stagnant at the $1.8 billion mark despite the decline in price.

Ethereum is down by over 10% against the U.S. Dollar over the past few days. It was trading at $225 five days ago but fell below the $200 mark to now trade at $193. Against BTC, ETH has lost 7.3% of its value during that time period.

Ripple (XRP) price analysis

XRP is one of the biggest winners amongst the leading cryptos after climbing 6.2% over the past 24 hours. The cryptocurrency was trading $0.40 yesterday but has since surged to now trade at $0.43.

The daily trading volume meanwhile is up by nearly $100 million. XRP’s 24-hour trading volume yesterday was $730 million and has gone up to now stand at $816 million.

Despite its recent rise, XRP is still down by roughly 11% against the U.S. Dollar over the past few days. It was trading at $0.48 five days ago but has dropped to now trade at $0.43 following a midweek slump.

Against Bitcoin, XRP is down by 7.5% over the past five days.

EOS (EOS) price analysis

The fifth largest crypto has lost over 1% of its value over the past few hours. EOS was trading at $5.33 yesterday but since fallen to $5.25 despite the general market stabilizing over the past 24 hours.

The daily trading volume has returned to its previous level at $562 million after reaching $754 million yesterday.

EOS has lost 7.7% of its value against the greenback over the past few days. It was trading at $5.70 five days ago but experienced a sharp decline which has seen it drop to $5.25. Against BTC, EOS is down by roughly 4% over the past few days.

Stellar Lumens (XLM) price analysis

Stellar Lumens followed the path of Bitcoin, rising by less than 1% over the past 24 hours. Despite its rise, XLM is still trading at $0.21. The 24-hour trading volume is down by $5 million, from $67 million recorded yesterday to now stand at $62 million.

XLM is down by 8.3% against the USD over the past few days. The sixth largest crypto was trading at $0.24 five days but, like other altcoins, experienced a sharp decline midweek and slumped to $0.21. It is also down by 3.3% against BTC during that time period.

Litecoin (LTC) price analysis

Litecoin is up nearly 2% over the past few hours as it begins recovery from its recent slump. LTC was trading at $52 yesterday but is now closing in on the $53 mark.

LTC trading volume has meanwhile dropped from $400 million to its current $321 million.

LTC has lost 7.4% of its value against the U.S. Dollar over the past five days. It was trading at $57 per coin a few days ago but has since then declined to its current price of $52. It is also down by 3.4% against BTC over the past five days.
