Daily Price Analysis 10/11: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), EOS, Stellar (XLM), Litecoin (LTC)

The cryptocurrency has continued trading in the red zone after losing $15 billion over the past 24 hours. The total market cap dropped massively from $216 billion just yesterday to $201 billion after a sharp selloff late last night.

The cryptocurrency has continued trading in the red zone after losing $15 billion over the past 24 hours. The total market cap dropped massively from $216 billion just yesterday to $201 billion after a sharp selloff late last night.

There was no major catalyst for this market movement. However, the daily trading volume has increased from $11 billion to $15 billion over the 24-hour period. This is typical during major price swings.

Bitcoin (BTC) price analysis

Bitcoin has lost more than 4% of its value over the past 24 hours. It has led the other cryptocurrencies as the general market trade in the red. Bitcoin was trading at $6,561 yesterday but has dropped to trade at around $6,300.

The daily trading volume is up by nearly $1 billion, rising from $3.7 billion yesterday to reach its current level at $4.6 billion.

Against the greenback, Bitcoin has lost nearly 5% of its value over the past five days. It was trading at $6,526 a few days ago and maintained that price range before plunging yesterday to now trade at $6,302.

Ethereum (ETH) price analysis

The second largest crypto was one of the biggest losers amongst the leading cryptocurrencies. ETH lost more than 11% of its value over the past 24 hours, dropping from $225 yesterday and now trades at $200.

Its daily trading volume meanwhile has increased from $1.3 billion yesterday to reach the $1.8 billion mark despite the decline in price.

Over the past five days, ETH has lost 12% of its value against the US Dollars. It was trading at $228 a few days ago but decline massively to trade at $200. Against Bitcoin meanwhile, it is down by more than 7% over the past few days.

Ripple (XRP) price analysis

Ripple lost more than 12% of its value as it joins the other cryptocurrencies in trading in the red zone. XRP was trading at $0.46 yesterday but dropped t0 $0.40 as the general market lost its value during over the past few hours.

This comes despite Ripple being listed on Mercado, Brazil’s largest crypto exchange. The daily trading volume has nearly doubled over the past 24 hours. XRP’s 24-hour trading volume yesterday was $437 million but it has gone up to now stand at $730 million.

XRP has lost 21% of its value against the USD over the past five days, making it the biggest losers amongst the leading cryptos.

XRP was trading at $0.56 five days ago but embarked on a decline that sees it reach $0.40. It has lost 16% against BTC during that time period.

EOS (EOS) price analysis

EOS joins the others in recording losses after it lost 9% of its value over the past 24 hours. EOS was trading at $5.84 yesterday but has dropped to now trade at $5.33.

The daily trading volume has meanwhile spiked to $754 million from $555 million recorded yesterday.

EOS is down by 8.7% against the US Dollars over the past few days. It was trading at $5.8 five days ago and maintained that price level before crashing yesterday to now trade at $5.33. Against Bitcoin, it is down by 4.3% over the past five days.

Stellar Lumens (XLM) price analysis

Stellar Lumen has also recorded losses as it slipped by 10% over the past 24 hours. XLM was trading at $0.24 yesterday but has dropped to now trade at $0.21. Just like other, the trading volume is up, from $44 million yesterday to now stand at $67 million.

A look at the XLM chart shows that it is down by 13% against the US Dollars over the past few days. Five days ago, XLM was trading close to $0.25 but has now dropped to trade at $0.21. It has meanwhile lost 7.7% of its value against Bitcoin.

Litecoin (LTC) price analysis

The seventh largest cryptocurrency is down by nearly 10% over the past few hours. LTC was trading at $57 yesterday but continued its decline to now trade at $52 per coin. The daily trading volume is around $400 million, up from $314 million recorded yesterday.

Litecoin is down by 9% against the USD over the past five days. It was trading at $57 a few days ago but has dropped to now trade at $52. It has also lost nearly 5% of its value against BTC over the past five days.
