Daily Price Analysis 10/09: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), EOS, Stellar (XLM) Litecoin (LTC
The cryptocurrency market is trading in the green again after recording $4 billion in gains over the past 24 hours. The total crypto market cap yesterday was $217 billion but has now gone up to stand at $221 billion.
The 24-hour trading volume grew by $2 billion from yesterday’s $10 billion to now sit at $12 billion.
Bitcoin price analysis
The price of the leading cryptocurrency is up by roughly 1% over the past 24 hours. BTC was trading at $6,602 yesterday but has now gone up to trade at $6,672. The rise comes as Ran Neuner of CNBC predicted that BTC price would soon explode.
The daily trading volume has meanwhile gone up by $600 million over the past few hours.
The BTC 24-hour trading volume yesterday was $3.3 billion but it has now risen to stand at $3.9 billion.
Over the past five days, BTC is up by 1% against the U.S. Dollar. It was trading at $6,502 five days ago but has remained fairly stable and now trades at $6,672.
Ethereum price analysis
The second largest cryptocurrency has surged by over 2% over the past 24 hours, from $224 yesterday to $229. Despite the increase in price, the daily trading volume still remains at $1.4 billion over the past few hours.
ETH is up nearly 5% against the USD over the past five days when it was trading at $220.
Against Bitcoin meanwhile, Ethereum is up by just 2% over the past few days.
Ripple price analysis
Ripple has remained stagnant over the past few hours, still trading at yesterday’s $0.48 price. The daily trading volume has, meanwhile, dropped slightly from $497 million to $476 million over the past 24 hours.
XRP has continued its week-long losing streak as it is currently down by 7.7% against the U.S. Dollar over the past few days.
Five days ago, Ripple was trading at $0.53 but has since declined to now trade at $0.48. Against BTC meanwhile, it is down by 10% during that timeframe.
EOS price analysis
EOS is amongst the biggest winners of the day, climbing by 3.1% over the past 24 hours. The dApp and smart contract cryptocurrency was trading at $5.70 yesterday but has now gone up to trade at $5.92.
Daily trading volume has also surged by over $100 million over the past 24 hours.
The EOS daily trading volume yesterday was $495 million but has now gone to $640 million over the past few hours.
EOS has been on the rise and it is currently up 5.8% against the U.S. Dollar over the past few days. It was trading at $5.60 five days ago and has been on a rise since then to now trade at $5.90. It is up by 3.2% against BTC during that time frame.
Stellar Lumens price analysis
Stellar Lumens have followed the general market and is trading in the green. The payment cryptocurrency is up by over 1% but is still trading at $0.24 over the past few hours.
The daily trading volume has gone up to $44 million after stagnating around $33 million over the past few days.
XLM is up over 3% against the U.S. Dollar over the past five days even though its trading price still remains at $0.24. Against Bitcoin meanwhile, it is down by less than 1% over the past five days.
Litecoin price analysis
After EOS, Litecoin was the second biggest winner amongst the leading cryptocurrencies. It was trading at $57 yesterday but has recorded gains over 2% to now trade at $59 per coin.
LTC daily trading volume yesterday was $260 million but has risen by nearly $60 million to now stand at $314 million.
Against the U.S. Dollar, Litecoin is up by over 1% over the past few days. LTC was trading at $58 five days ago but has experienced mixed trading patterns to now trade at $59. It is also up by less than 1% against BTC over the past few days.
