Daily Price Analysis 10/08: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), EOS, Stellar (XLM) Litecoin (LTC)

The cryptocurrency market has remained stagnant over the past 24 hours at $217 billion. The daily trading volume meanwhile has dropped slightly over the past few hours.

The 24-hour trading volume of yesterday was $11 billion but it has now dropped to $10 billion despite the stable market cap.

Bitcoin price analysis

The Bitcoin price is trading in the green after it rose from $6,577 yesterday to now trade at $6,602. The daily trading volume has meanwhile stagnated at $3.3 billion over the past 24 hours, with the BTC dominance still standing above the 50 percent mark.

BTC is up by less than 1% against the U.S. Dollar over the past five days, from $6,524 five days ago to now trade at $6,602.

Ethereum price analysis

Just like Bitcoin, Ethereum is trading in the green, up by less than 1% over the past 24 hours, maintaining yesterday’s $224 trading price. The daily trading volume has meanwhile dropped by $100 million to now stand at $1.4 billion.

Ethereum has been able to retain its value against the U.S. Dollar over the past five days while losing slightly over 1% against BTC over the same timeframe.

ETH returns to close to its $225 price five days ago following a turbulent week and now trades at $224.

Ripple price analysis

The third largest cryptocurrency has gained more than 1% over the past few hours. It was trading at $0.47 yesterday but has gone up slightly and now stand at $0.48.

The daily trading volume has dropped from over $700 million to now stand at $497 million.

XRP is down by over 5% over the past five days against the USD. It was trading at $0.51 a few days ago but following a difficult week now trades at $0.48.

XRP lost 7.2% of its value against BTC during that time frame.

EOS price analysis

EOS is also trading in the green, retaining its price over the past 24 hours. It was trading at $5.70 yesterday and it has maintained that price through today.

EOS daily trading volume has gone up slightly, from $487 million yesterday to its current level at $495 million.

EOS is up by 3% over the past five days against the U.S. Dollar, climbing slightly from $5.50 five days to $5.70 today. Against Bitcoin, meanwhile, EOS is up by slightly over 1% during that time frame.

Stellar Lumens price analysis

Stellar Lumen has regained its previous price after slipping yesterday. XLM was trading at $0.23 yesterday but has gone up by more than 1% to now trade at $0.24.

Stellar Lumens daily trading volume is slightly up to $35 million from $33 million recorded yesterday.

XLM is down by 2% against the U.S. Dollar over the past five days even though the price still remains at $0.24. Against BTC meanwhile, Stellar is down by roughly 2.5% over the past five days.

Litecoin price analysis

Litecoin is the only leading cryptocurrency trading in the red. It is down by less than 1% but is still trading at $57 over the past few hours. The daily trading volume has dropped over $100 million.

LTC daily trading volume yesterday was $394 million but has since fallen to just $260 million.

Litecoin has lost over 2% of its value against the U.S. Dollars over the past five days. LTC was trading at $59 a few days ago but has now dropped to $57. LTC is down by 3.8% against Bitcoin over the past five days.
