Daily Price Analysis 10/07: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), EOS, Stellar (XLM) Litecoin (LTC)

The cryptocurrency market has continued its haphazard movement as it lost $3 billion over the past 24 hours. The total market cap yesterday was $220 billion but it has now dropped to $217 billion.

Despite the drop, the daily trading volume has gone up slightly over the past 24 hours. Total trading volume yesterday was $10 billion but it has now gone up to $11 billion.

Bitcoin price analysis

Bitcoin’s price has dropped less than 1% of its value over the past 24 hours. BTC was trading at $6,614 yesterday but has now dropped to trade at $6,577. The volatility of the cryptocurrency has hit a 17-month low.

The daily trading volume has dropped slightly from $3.3 billion yesterday but now stands at $3.2 billion.

Bitcoin is down by less than 1% against the USD over the past few days. Five days ago, BTC was trading at $6,602 but has experienced haphazard movement to now trade at $6,577.

Ethereum price analysis

Ethereum has slightly over 1% of its value over the past 24 hours, falling from yesterdays high of $227 yesterday to trade at $224.

The daily trading volume has stabilized at $1.5 billion over the past three days.

ETH, the second largest cryptocurrency in the world, has dropped by 3.5% over the past few days. It was trading at $231 five days ago but declined over time to now trade at $224.

Against BTC, ETH has dropped by 2.7% over the last five days.

Ripple price analysis

Ripple was the biggest loser amongst the leading cryptocurrencies. XRP was trading at $0.51 yesterday but has now lost more than 8% over the past few hours to now trade at $0.47.

The daily trading volume has surged by more than $200 million over the past few hours, from yesterday’s $497 billion to $741 billion today.

Over the past five days, XRP has lost more than 18% against USD. The third largest crypto was trading at $0.57 five days ago but has declined massively to $0.47. It has dropped by more than 17% over the past five days against BTC.

EOS price analysis

EOS is down by 1% over the past 24 hours. It was trading at $5.8 yesterday but has now dropped to $5.7. Daily trading volume has remained stagnant at $487 million over the past few hours despite the price decrease.

Against the U.S. Dollar, EOS has lost just 1% over the past five days. It was trading at $5.8 five days ago but has now dropped to $5.7. It has been able to hold its place against BTC during that timeframe.

Stellar Lumen price analysis

The sixth largest cryptocurrency has lost 2.5% of its value over the past few hours. It was trading at $0.24 yesterday but has now dropped to trade at $0.23.

The daily trading volume has remained stagnant at $33 million over the past 24 hours.

Over the past five days, XLM has lost 7.6% of its value against the USD. It was trading at $0.26 a few days ago but continued to decline to now trade at $0.23. Against BTC, XLM has lost 7% of its value over the past five days.

Litecoin price analysis

Litecoin has also dropped by more 2% over the past 24 hours. Litecoin was trading close to the $59 mark yesterday but has now slipped to trade at $57.

Litecoin’s 24-hour trading volume has gone up slightly from $322 million yesterday to now stand at $394 million.

LTC was trading close to $60 five days ago but has lost more than 4% of its value against the USD Dollars since then. It has also lost more than 4% against BTC over the past five days.
