Daily Price Analysis 10/05: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), EOS, Stellar (XLM) Litecoin (LTC)

The cryptocurrency market has dropped by $1 billion over the past 24 hours. Yesterday's total market cap was $219 billion but has now dropped to $218 billion.

The cryptocurrency market has dropped by $1 billion over the past 24 hours. Yesterday’s total market cap was $219 billion but has now dropped to $218 billion. The daily trading volume has stayed flat around $12 billion.

There was no catalyst for this drop, however, Ripple (XRP) is down roughly 3% as the rest of the market continues to trade sideways.

Bitcoin (BTC) price analysis

Bitcoin’s price has dropped by less than 1% over the past 24 hours. BTC was trading at $6,612 yesterday but has now dropped to $6,587. The daily trading volume has dropped by $200 million over the past few hours.

BTC’s daily trading volume was $3.9 billion yesterday but has now dropped to $3.7 billion.

A look at Bitcoin’s chart against the USD over the past five days shows that the leading cryptocurrency has lost less than 1% of its value. It was trading at $6,602 five days ago but has now dropped to $6,587.

Ethereum (ETH) price analysis

Ethereum has been able to maintain its price over the past 24 hours. Yesterday, ETH’s price was $223 and it has been maintained over the past few hours. Just like the trading price, the trading volume has also remained constant at approximately $1.5 billion.

ETH has lost 3% of its value over the past five days. It was trading at $229 five days ago but has been on a decline that now sees it trading at $223. Against BTC, it is down by 3.2% over the past few days.

Ripple (XRP) price analysis

The third largest crypto is one of the biggest losers amongst the leading cryptocurrencies, losing 3% of its value over the past few hours. XRP was trading at $0.53 yesterday but has now dropped to $0.51.

For the third consecutive day, XRP trading volume has dropped. The trading volume yesterday was $719 million but has now dropped to $607 million.

XRP chart shows that it is down more than 8% against the US Dollars over the past five days. It was trading at $0.56 five days ago but has now dropped to $0.51. Against BTC, it is down by over 8% during that time period.

EOS price analysis

EOS is up for the second day running, adding almost 1% to its value over the past 24 hours. EOS was trading at $5.70 yesterday but has slightly gone up to trade at $5.74. The daily trading volume has dropped slightly from $653 million to now stand at $615 million.

EOS has been trading at the same price it was five days ago. EOS/USD five days ago was $5.74 and it has remained like that. Against BTC, it has also been able to retain its value over the past few days.

Stellar Lumen (XLM) price analysis

Stellar is up less than 1% over the past few hours but is still trading at its previous price of $0.24. The trading volume has also remained stagnant over the past 24 hours. XLM trading volume yesterday was $39 million but it now stands at $38 million.

XLM has lost 4% of its value against the US Dollars over the past few days. Five days ago, it was trading at $0.25 but has now dropped to $0.24. It has lost nearly the same amount against BTC over the past five days.

Litecoin (LTC) price analysis

Litecoin is down by less than 1% but is also trading at its previous level. LTC was trading at $58 yesterday and has been able to maintain that price. The daily trading volume has also dropped from $394 million to now stand at $371 million.

LTC is down by 3.2% against the USD over the past few days. Litecoin was trading at $60 five days ago but has been declining to now trade at $58. It has also lost 3.2% of its value against the leading crypto, Bitcoin over the past five days.
