Daily Price Analysis 10/04: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), EOS, Stellar (XLM) Litecoin (LTC)
After trading in the red yesterday, the cryptocurrency market has gained $4 billion over the past 24 hours. The total market cap of the crypto market yesterday was $215 billion but has now risen to $219 billion.

Despite the increase in market cap, the daily trading volume has dropped to $12 billion, from the $14 billion recorded yesterday.
Bitcoin price analysis
Bitcoin is up nearly 2% over the past 24 hours. BTC was trading at $6,487 yesterday but has since gone up to trade at $6,612. The rise in the cryptocurrency comes despite some analysts claiming that BTC price would plunge lower.
The daily trading volume however dropped by $300 million over the past few hours. BTC’s daily trading volume yesterday was $4.1 billion but has now dropped to $3.8 billion.
Bitcoin has had a stable week, trading at $6,616 five days ago and still standing around that price, at $6,612.
Ethereum price analysis
ETH has followed a similar path to BTC and gone up by nearly 2% over the past 24 hours. ETH trading at $223 today, up from yesterday’s $220. The rise comes as ErisX revealed that it is looking to launch a new Ethereum futures market.
The daily trading volume has dropped back to $1.5 billion after reaching $1.7 billion yesterday.
ETH is up 1.3% against the U.S. Dollar over the past five days. It was trading at $222 five days ago but now stands at $223. Against BTC meanwhile, it is up 1.6% over the past five days.
Ripple price analysis
XRP is up 2% over the past 24 hours but is still trading at $0.53. The rise comes as the general market experienced a surge over the past few hours.
The daily trading volume has slipped again, from $919 million yesterday to now stand at $719 million.
XRP is up 1% against the USD over the past few days as it has been able to maintain its price at $0.53. Against BTC meanwhile, it is up by less than 1% over the past five days.
EOS price analysis
EOS, the fifth largest cryptocurrency, has gained 2.3% against the USD over the past 24 hours. EOS was trading at $5.58 yesterday but has now gone up to trade at $5.70.
The 24-hour trading volume has dropped to $565 million from the $653 million recorded yesterday.
Against both the U.S. Dollar and Bitcoin, EOS is down by less than 1% over the past 24 five days. It was trading at $5.72 five days ago but continued to trade around that price over the past few days.
Stellar Lumens price analysis
Despite Stellar Lumens going up by 1% over the past 24 hours, it is still trading at $0.24. The rise comes as the general market experienced gains over the past few hours.
The daily trading volume has dropped significantly from $56 million yesterday to now stand at $39 million.
XLM has lost 2% of its value against USD over the past few days. The sixth largest crypto was trading at $0.25 five days ago but has now dropped to $0.24. It has meanwhile lost 1.8% of its value against BTC.
Litecoin price analysis
Litecoin is up less than 1% to still trade at $58 over the past 24 hours, adding just a few cents to its price. The daily trading volume like the others has dropped over the past few hours.
LTC trading volume yesterday was $460 million but has now dropped to $394 million.
LTC has lost 2% of its value against the greenback over the past few days. It was trading at $60 five days ago but has now dropped to $58. It has also lost 3% of its value against the leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin.
