Daily Price Analysis 10/01: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), EOS, Stellar (XLM) Litecoin (LTC)

The cryptocurrency market has added $2 billion to its market cap over the past 24 hours as cryptocurrencies experience mixed trading patterns, from yesterday's $221 to now stand at $223 billion.

The cryptocurrency market has added $2 billion to its market cap over the past 24 hours as cryptocurrencies experience mixed trading patterns, from yesterday’s $221 to now stand at $223 billion.

The daily trading volume for the general market has stagnated at the $14 billion over the past few hours.

Bitcoin price analysis

The price of the leading crypto is up less than 1% over the past 24 hours. BTC was trading at $6,569 yesterday but has now gone up slightly to trade at $6,616. This slight increase comes as the general market recorded small gains.

The 24-hour trading volume is down by $200 million, dropping from $4.1 billion yesterday to now stand at $3.9 billion.

Over the past five days, Bitcoin has gone up by 3% against the US Dollar. It was trading at $6,416 five days ago but surged higher to reach a weekly high of $6,800 before dropping to its current price.

Ethereum price analysis

Ethereum has been able to maintain its price at $230 over the past 24 hours, experiencing a daily high of $233.

Despite this, the daily trading volume has dropped by $400 million, from $2.1 billion recorded yesterday to the current $1.7 billion.

ETH is up 5.4% against the USD over the past few days. Five days ago, Ethereum was trading at $216 per coin but has since then risen slowly to now trade at $230.

Against BTC meanwhile, ETH is up 3% over the past five days.

Ripple price analysis

Like Ethereum, Ripple has been able to maintain its price over the past 24 hours. XRP was trading at $0.57 yesterday and, despite a daily high of $0.61, it has since returned to the same price.

The daily trading volume meanwhile has gone up by $200 million to $1.2 billion, from yesterday’s $1 billion.

XRP is up 14% against the US Dollar over the past five days. It was trading at $0.51 a few days ago but has been on a rise to now trade at $0.57.

XRP has enjoyed massive growth against BTC, rising by 11% over the past five days.

EOS price analysis

EOS has gone up slightly over the past 24 hours, rising from $5.65 yesterday to now trade at $5.67. This comes after the cryptocurrency recorded a daily low of $5.45 and a high of $5.80.

This rise comes despite recent controversies surrounding the block producers of the network, with Huobi denying all allegations.

The 24-hour trading volume is up by $200 million, from $631 million yesterday to now stand at $802 million.

EOS  gained 4.6% against the US Dollar over the past five days. EOS was trading at $5.30 five days ago but after a haphazard week now trades at $5.67. Against BTC, EOS is up just 2% over the past few days.

Stellar Lumen price analysis

Stellar Lumen has surged by more than 1% over the past 24 hours, rising from $0.25 to now trade at $0.26. The daily trading volume is also up, rising from $53 million yesterday to now stand at $67 million.

XLM is up 5.6% against the US Dollar over the past five days. It was trading at $0.25 five days ago but has now gone up to trade at $0.26.

Against BTC, XLM is up by just 1% during that timeframe.

Litecoin price analysis

Litecoin is still trading at $60 after experiencing mixed trading patterns over the past 24 hours. The 24-hour trading volume is up by $100 million, rising from $361 million recorded yesterday to now stand at $461 million.

LTC has lost 5% of its value against USD over the past five days. It was trading at $64 five days ago but since slipped to $60.

Against Bitcoin, meanwhile, LTC has lost 3.8% of its value over the past five days.
