Daily Price Analysis 09/3: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), EOS, Litecoin (LTC)

The total cryptocurrency market has lost $1 billion over the past 24 hours. The total market cap yesterday was $237 billion but has now dropped to $236 billion.

The total cryptocurrency market has lost $1 billion over the past 24 hours. The total market cap yesterday was $237 billion but has now dropped to $236 billion.

The daily trading volume has also slipped by $1 billion over the past 24 hours, dropping from $13 billion yesterday to now stand at $12 billion.

Bitcoin price analysis

The BTC price has been stagnant over the past 24 hours. The leading cryptocurrency was trading at $7,253 yesterday and now trades at $7,255. This signifies a minor rise.

The slight rise in price, however, was not reciprocated by the trading volume. Bitcoin’s 24-hour trading volume dropped by $200 million over the past few hours, from $4.3 billion to now stand at $4.1 billion.

Over the past five days, Bitcoin has gained 2.5% against the U.S Dollars, with the cryptocurrency recovering some of its lost value slowly. It was trading at $7,078 five days ago but has since then risen to now trade at $7,255.

Ethereum (ETH) price analysis

The second largest cryptocurrency has lost more than 2% of its value over the past 24 hours as it continues to struggle to reach the $300 mark. ETH was trading at $297 yesterday but has now dropped to $290.

The proposed ETH futures will be bad for Ethereum and good for Bitcoin, according to Tom Lee.

The drop in price has been followed by a drop in trading volume also. Ethereum’s trading volume yesterday was $1.5 billion but is down by $300 million to now stand at $1.2 billion.

Over the past five days, ETH has lost 2% of its value against the U.S Dollars. It was trading at $296 five days ago but has now dropped to $290 per coin. Against BTC however, it has lost nearly 5%.

Ripple (XRP) price analysis

After rising to $0.35 yesterday, XRP has given up its gains over the past few hours. The cryptocurrency lost 3% of its value over the past 24 hours to now trade at $0.33, down from $0.35.

The daily trading volume has also dropped from $284 million yesterday to now stand at $209 million.

Against the U.S Dollars, XRP has lost more than 4% of its value over the past five days. It was trading at $0.36 five days ago but has since then experienced a mixed trading pattern before slipping to $0.33

Against BTC, XRP has lost roughly 6.5% of its value over the past five days.

EOS price analysis

EOS continued its drop, losing 1.4% of its value over the past 24 hours. The cryptocurrency was trading at $6.62 yesterday but has now dropped to $6.48. The trading volume has also dropped over the past few hours, from $832 million to now stand at $809 million.

Despite its recent slump, EOS is up 9.8% against the U.S Dollars over the past five days. It was trading at $5.9 five days ago but embarked on a bullish run that saw it reach $6.4 per coin. Against BTC, it is up by 7% over the past five days.

Litecoin (LTC) price analysis

After rising to $66 yesterday, LTC has plunged by 1.7% to now trade at $65 per coin. The drop comes as the wider market lost some of its value.

The 24-hour trading volume has also dropped, though slightly. The daily trading volume yesterday was $301 million but has now dropped to $297 million.

LTC is up 3.5% against the U.S Dollars over the past five days. It was trading at $63 five days ago but has now increased to $63. It also recorded gains against BTC, rising by 0.9% over the past five days.
