Daily Price Analysis 09/25: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), EOS, Litecoin (LTC)

The cryptocurrency market has lost $11 billion over the past 24 hours, as the market sheds off some of the gains it has accumulated over the past few days. The total crypto market cap yesterday was $218 billion but has now dropped to $207 billion.

The 24-hour trading volume has, however, increased slightly, from $13 billion to now stand at $14 billion.

Bitcoin price analysis

Bitcoin has lost nearly 4% of its value over the past 24 hours. It was trading at $6,602 yesterday but has now dipped to trade at $6,392. There was no major catalyst for this move as the market continues to shed some of the gains it recently made.

The 24-hour trading volume meanwhile rose by nearly $400 million from yesterday’s trading volume of $4.1 billion to now stand close to $4.5 billion.

Against the U.S. Dollar, Bitcoin has returned to the level it was trading at five days ago. It was trading at $6,391 five days ago before surging to reach a high of $6,802, and then dropping and to now trade at $6,392.

Ethereum price analysis

The second largest cryptocurrency has lost over 9% of its value over the past 24 hours. It was trading at $233 yesterday but has now dropped to $211.

ETH has been able to keep its price above the $200 mark.

Just like Bitcoin, Ethereum’s daily trading volume has slightly increased, from $1.7 billion yesterday to reach $1.8 billion over the past few hours.

It has also returned to previous levels. Five days ago, ETH was trading at $209 per coin and its latest drop has returned it to its trading price of five days ago. Ethereum is up 0.5% against BTC over the past five days.

Ripple price analysis

XRP has continued its downward spiral as it has plunged below the $0.5 mark over the past few hours. It was trading at $0.51 yesterday but has lost 18% of its value over the past few hours to now trade at $0.45.

The trading volume has added $400 million over the past few hours, rising from $900 million to currently stand at $1.3 billion.

XRP is up 37% against the U.S. Dollar over the past few days. Five days ago. it was trading at $0.32 but has since then surged massively to reach a weekly high of $0.73 before starting to normalize.

Against BTC, XRP is still up 37%.

EOS price analysis

Just like Ethereum, EOS has lost nearly 10% of its value over the past 24 hours. The smart contract and dApp cryptocurrency was trading at $5.67 yesterday but has now dropped to trade at $5.19.

The trading volume has slightly increased over the past 24 hours, rising from $700 million to currently stand at $770 million.

EOS is down 2% against USD over the past five days. It was trading at $5.25 a few days ago but surged high to $6.2 before dropping rapidly to now trade at $5.1. Against BTC, EOS has lost 1.7% of its value during that timeframe.

Litecoin price analysis

Litecoin has lost just 4% of its value over the past 24 hours. It was trading at $57 yesterday but has now slipped to $55. The 24-hour trading volume meanwhile has increased from $288 million yesterday to its current level of $307 million.

Against the USD, LTC is up 3% over the past five days. It was trading at $54 five days ago but went up to reach a weekly high of $63 before slipping to its current price of $55. Against BTC, it is still up 2.7% over the past five days.
